Valve Drilling

Stuck or froze gates, closed or half open, broken stems; It doesn’t matter. Great White Well Control, with its fully self-contained Gate Valve Drilling Unit can handle it. The entire package comes on one flat bed trailer. No need for a hot shot. The unit can be adapted over to almost any API flange size via adapter spool(s). With long stroke capability, the unit can drill gates 30 feet from the top adapter spool. With hydraulic feed and bit control, the operations can take place at a safe distance.

Great White Pressure Control designed the unique unit from the ground up; Incorporating the drill, toolboxes, the power unit, and crane into one easy to handle package. The unit is fully operational up to 15,000 PSI even under high H2S concentrations. The unit was tested to 22,500 PSI by a third-party, API certified facility.

Great White Pressure Control / Well Control personnel stand by at all times, waiting to get you back into business. Drilled valve can be pumped through for kill operations, freeze jobs, or can be left permanently in place and flowed through.

Designed for land based as well as off-shore operations.
When rigged up and tested, the entire drilling operation can be performed from the ground.
